Training on Regional and International Human Rights Instruments, including the Maputo Protocol for Law Clerks and Legal Researchers 11th-13th APRIL 2024.

The training is organized by KJA in partnership with Equality Now, ICJ, Katiba Institute, Center for Reproductive Rights and Solidarity for African Women’s Rights. The objectives of the training are;

a) Enhance the awareness of and application of regional and international human rights instruments, including the Maputo Protocol, among Law Clerks and Legal Researchers in the Judiciary of Kenya;
b) Enhance the capacity of Law Clerks and Legal Researchers to contribute to the promotion and protection of women’s and girls’ rights, articulated in regional and international human rights instruments, including the Maputo Protocol, through informed and effective research;
c) Enhance the drafting skills of Law Clerks and Legal Researchers in the Judiciary of Kenya, enabling them to develop high-quality legal memorandums.
