Training of Magistrates and Child Justice Actors on the Rights of Children held in Naivasha at Lake Naivasha Resort on 16th- 19th October 2023.
The training has been organized by the Office of the Chief Justice and the Kenya Judiciary Academy with partners support from Equality Now and International Academy of Family Lawyers ( IAFL)
The participants are drawn from Judicial Officers, ODPP and DSC.
The objectives of the training are
1. To provide conceptual and theoretical framework on the children's rights
2. To promote the understanding and application of the Children Act 2022
3. To provide knowledge on emerging issues in the child justice including diversion, Online sexual exploitation and abuse and private international family law.
