The National Steering Committee on the implementation of Alternative Justice Systems Policy (NaSCI-AJS) meeting 7th-8th March 2024

The National Steering Committee on the implementation of Alternative Justice Systems Policy (NaSCI-AJS) has commenced its two-day quarterly meeting at Enashipai Hotel in Naivasha today. Dr. Steve Okoth, the Deputy Vice Chair of NaSCI-AJS, is presiding over the meeting, which aims to discuss the adoption of Autonomous and 3rd Party guidelines on AJS, as well as Court annexed guidelines and a code of conduct for AJS Practitioners.
Additionally, the committee will deliberate on the AJS case register and the adoption of the AJS training manual, program, and sensitization curriculum. Priority areas of focus for the committee include collaborations with various stakeholders and partners, as well as the development and dissemination of County Action Plans nationwide.
