KLRC in partnership with Kenya Judiciary Academy (KJA), UN Women, and IDLO convened a high-level policy dialogue. The purpose of the meeting was to disseminate the outcome of the Mapping Discriminatory Laws Against Women and Girls in Kenya, 2020’ Report and focused group discussions, gather ideas including the conflicting outcomes of bench decisions and anything else in law that may be a concern and needs reform. It was an avenue to collect ideas on what tools can be developed or improved for better bench decisions, for instance, and implementation of the gaps observed in the report.
