The Kenya Judiciary Academy in collaboration with the Judiciary Committee on Elections and support of ELGIA and ICJ Kenya hosts Hon. Magistrates gazetted to hear election offences arising from the 2022 General elections, to a debrief session.
Magistrates gazetted to hear election offences together with justice actors come together to take stock of the 2022 Election by exchanging ideas through reflections on the effectiveness of past approaches and best practices whilst identifying gaps and areas of improvement, to enhance the delivery of electoral justice: emerging Jurisprudence, challenges faced and recommended areas for legislative reform.
Justice actors present include IEBC, ODPP, FIDA, Judiciary Committee on Elections Malawi, ELGIA, ICJ Kenya and NCLR
